Electric Darners can be found on Hyrule

The best place to find an Electric Darner is just northeast of the Tabantha Bridge Stable. However, they will only appear when it is raining or during a thunderstorm. Another great place is around the Thundra Plateau before the completion of the Trial of Thunder as it is under a constant thunderstorm.

Electric Darner are mostly found in the locations: Thunderhead Isles, West Necluda.

Cold Darners can be found in cold regions of Hyrule Kingdom, such as Hyrule Ridge and the Tabantha Frontier. They can also be purchased from traveling merchants, such as Maypin and Beedle at the Kara Kara Bazaar and Woodland Stable.

The Electric Darner is a one of the creatures found in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Most creatures drop recoverable materials and some are used for as ingredients for cooking, side quests, shrine quests or armor upgrades. This rare dragonfly only appears in the rain.

The easiest way to get some electric darners is to just buy them. Head to Riverside Stable (via Wahgo Katta shrine) and check with Beedle.

In order to complete the Side Quest, Link must Cook either a Cold Darner or a Winterwing Butterfly with Monster Parts to make a Chilly Elixir. Beedle, who can be found nearby, sells Cold Darners for 10 Rupees. Once he is in possession of a Chilly Elixir, Link can return to Guy.

They are sold by Beedle at Riverside Stable. These dragonflies prefer the grassy plains of Central Hyrule or Akkala.

Thunderwing Butterflies can be found flying on Hyrule Ridge and in the Gerudo Highlands and can be caught be sneaking up on them. Beedle also sells Thunderwing Butterflies at Lakeside Stable, Riverside Stable, and Tabantha Bridge Stable.
